Shipping Policies

Shipping Locations

We can ship to any address in the United States. Limited international shipping to Canada may be available. To find out if we can ship to your Canadian address, contact us. Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada are not eligible for free shipping.

Shipping Times

Because we ship from multiple warehouses throughout the country, and because products ship based on availability, in-stock items may take up to 3-5 business days to ship, unless otherwise specified. We may charge your payment method before your order ships. If an item is unavailable to ship within the expected timeframe we can notify you with a revised expected ship date. We can assist if you need to make any changes to your order.

Shipping Methods

We select the best available shipping method when processing your order. We also offer expedited shipping. If you need your items quickly, select expedited shipping during the checkout process.   

Freight shipping: Some items require freight shipping. Unlike standard commercial delivery services, freight orders will arrive via a large delivery truck. Delivery drivers will typically call ahead to schedule delivery to make sure that you are available. To avoid incurring additional shipping expenses, please make sure that you are available during your scheduled delivery window.

Most residential freight deliveries are “curbside,” which means that the freight drivers will deliver the item in front of your place of residence. If you require lift-gate service or another high level of delivery service, please notify us.

Important Information on Freight Shipping and Damage Inspection: For all freight shipments, please inspect the packaging and note any damages on the delivery receipt that the driver has you sign, and take a picture before opening any boxes. If you note damages, please notify us so that we can file a claim with the freight company. Occasionally, damage does occur in shipment transit, however, our packaging is designed to protect the contents inside. We want you to be completely satisfied with your order, and inspecting the packaging for signs of damage is important to ensuring your satisfaction.

Hassle-Free Returns

Because we want you to be completely satisfied with your Stand Modern experience, we offer hassle-free returns. Most products can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a refund or replacement. For defective, missing, or damaged items, please contact us within 5 business days after purchase with a description of the issue so that we can best assist you.

All items must be returned in like-new condition in their original packaging along with all original accessories. Returns that do not meet these conditions may be subject to additional fees. All returns will be thoroughly inspected before refunds are processed.

We will credit your account upon receipt and validation of your return. Returns are typically processed and credited within 3 to 5 business days of receipt. For returns not related to defective, missing, or damaged items you will be responsible for the original cost of shipping. Some items may require a 20% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund.

Return Process

To ensure the return process goes as smoothly as possible, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us for a Return Authorization Number. We cannot accept returns without a Return Authorization Number (RMA #).

  2. Once you receive your Return Authorization Number and return shipping information from Stand Modern, package items (including all accessories and instructions) for return with the original packing materials inside the original shipping box.

  3. Place the product return label on the box. Be sure to include your Return Authorization Number on the label. To ensure that your items arrive in like-new condition, do not write on the box itself. Doing so may invalidate your return.

  4. Return your item. We strongly urge you to use a trackable shipping method and insure your return against loss or damage. Stand Modern cannot refund or replace returns that are lost or damaged during the return shipping process.

Non-Returnable Items

Stand Modern offers items that are built-to-order or custom-made by our manufacturers. Because these items are built to your specifications, these orders cannot be returned or canceled after the order has been placed. If you are unsure whether the item you’re ordering is eligible for returns or not, please contact us before you place your order.

Shipping Fees and Returns

Unless otherwise noted, you are responsible for all shipping costs incurred for returns. Any fees paid for additional services on your initial delivery are non-refundable. If you received free shipping on your initial order, any shipping costs incurred by Stand Modern on your outbound order will be deducted from your refund.

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately. Most orders ship within 3 business days. We will make every possible effort to cancel your order before it ships.

If we are unable to cancel an order before it ships, it will be subject to our standard return policy as outlined above.

If production has begun on a customizable or built-to-order item, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Privacy & Security

We take your privacy seriously. We will never share, sell, or distribute your information with any third parties, apart from those required to process your order.

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information any time you place an order or enter, submit, or access your account. All sensitive information, including credit card data, is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway provider’s database. Your sensitive information is only accessible by individuals with special security clearance, and these individuals are required by law to keep this information confidential.

Payment Methods

We accept all major credit and debit cards -- Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express -- as well as PayPal. We are unable to accept personal checks, money orders, or CODs. If you would prefer to pay using your bank account using an e-check, we recommend that you open a PayPal account because they provide this option. You may also select a financing option from PayPal through PayPal Credit, more information is available here.

Bulk/Multiple Order Discounts
